Offering Traditional and Alternative Veterinary Medicine

Allied Veterinary Service (AVS) was created in December of 2017 to offer relief and support options for other veterinarians. By God’s provision AVS has shaped into offering other therapies to support and care for animals as well. Realizing a calling to provide nonconventional medicine, Dr. Wallis studied veterinary acupuncture in order to integrate and provide the best care possible to her patients. With a passion for learning and treating animals with respect and compassion, mobile acupuncture service was added in 2019. Dr. Wallis is CVA (certificate of veterinary acupuncture) certified through IVAS. This certification was validated with a year of coursework, understudy, examinations, case studies, and reports.

MISSION

To provide support to clients, patients, and the veterinary community in an effort to advance quality of life. To continue to learn and advance in knowledge of all aspects of veterinary medicine to offer the best possible care and recommendations to your pets.

The Allied Veterinary Service name reflects the passion that Dr. Wallis has for providing quality care and holds several other special meanings. Allied intends to be an ally to veterinarians by providing relief services to those seeking time for vacation, family needs, or just a day or two of relaxation while resting assured that their patients are under quality care in their absence.

Allied also intends to be an ally for its veterinary patients to integrate compassionate care, traditional veterinary medicine, and alternative veterinary medicine tailored specifically to each patient.

Allied intends to bridge the gap and maintain positive relationships with all veterinary practices and clientele with only your pet’s best interest in mind. This means that Allied will happily work with your primary care veterinarian in tailoring your pet’s specific treatment plan.

And finally, Allied contains the name Allie, Dr. Wallis’ Labrador, who was rescued during her veterinary school training. As health and wellness issues have arisen with Allie, she has been an inspiration to continue learning and practicing alternative therapies to provide quality care. She remains a loving companion.

Allied Veterinary Service continues to grow and develop its services. Allied has a heart to invest in the mental, emotional, and physical health of pets and veterinarians and wants to bridge the gaps that exist in the industry.
